As part of “Administrative Professionals Day,” I made a cake for the
secretaries administrative professionals in our office. I had a boxed cake mix but I wanted to jazz it up with some homemade frosting. I picked a recipe on the food network site for an easy vanilla butter cream. Before I try something new, I always like to read the reviews to see if there are any further instructions that would be helpful. Imagine my delight when I found this review from “Cupcakeblondie” posted on July 30, 2011:
Tasted wonderful, however, under any circumstances, DO NOT EVER NO MATTER WHAT (do the following:
1. add nectarine to it
2. add more milk than told
3. use normal sugar instead of powdered sugar
4. try to powder regular sugar
5. add food coloring to the nectarine
6. add more sugar (especially granulated sugar! :(
but that was OUR fault. not the recipes.. because we tried this before and it turned out great.. then we did all that ^^ and.. well, it didn’t work to well……..
overall: turned out pretty good!
This is pure hilarious gold. It totally made my day. Thanks, Cupcakeblondie.
